2022 Hancock Military Heroes Banner Program

0Comments

The Hancock Military Heroes Banner Program is an annual tribute created by Hancock County to recognize and honor those who are serving, Veterans, or those who gave their life for our country in the United States Armed Forces.

Each banner includes the name, branch of service, photo (if provided) and years of service of the Honoree.  The Honoree’s branch of service emblem is used when no photo is provided.  The banners will be on public display in the downtown areas of Bay St. Louis, Diamondhead and Waveland from May to July and October through Veteran’s Day.  The cost of the banner is $150 for the production, installation and removal of the banner.  Banners have the option of redisplaying previous years banners for a fee of $75.  The banners can be stored for free as a courtesy of the Hancock Banner Program or the banner sponsor can accept possession of the banner at the conclusion of the program.  The Hancock Banner Program donates 100% of all profits (after expenses) to our local Veteran’s organizations (American Legion and VFW) in each respective city.

This program is managed by the Hancock Resource Center.  For more information, please contact:
