Pearl River County had one gas station selling premium gas at the lowest price of $2.89 per gallon during the week ending Feb. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Reported prices for premium gas in Pearl River County averaged $3.09 per gallon.
Of the 33 reported gas stations located within Pearl River County, nine offered premium gas.
For comparison, the average price of premium gas in Mississippi was $3.25 per gallon for the week ending Feb. 28, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
