Congressman Mike Ezell has announced that Frank Mallette, a construction professional from Vancleave, Mississippi, will be his guest at this year’s State of the Union Address in Washington.
Mallette is known for his work in road construction and infrastructure development across South Mississippi. His experience includes building and maintaining transportation networks that support local businesses, public safety, and economic growth.
“Frank represents the hardworking men and women who keep Mississippi moving,” Ezell said. “From building roads to strengthening our infrastructure, his work supports our economy and improves daily life for families across the Gulf Coast. I am honored to have him as my guest for the State of the Union.”
Ezell highlighted Mallette’s dedication to his community and noted that he exemplifies the work ethic found throughout Mississippi’s Fourth District. The congressman stated that skilled trades like those practiced by Mallette are important for regional economic opportunity.
Mike Ezell has represented Mississippi’s 4th district in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Steven Palazzo (https://ballotpedia.org/Mike_Ezell). He was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi in 1959 and continues to reside there. Ezell graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997.
Ezell said he looks forward to recognizing Mallette’s contributions while bringing attention to workers and builders from Mississippi at the nation’s capital.
