Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports arrests and incidents for May 13

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office released on May 14 a summary of calls for service and arrests that occurred on May 13, listing several incidents across the county.

The report details various offenses including domestic violence, burglary, disturbing the peace, littering, malicious mischief, trespassing, fraud or scam, simple assault, suspicious circumstances, vehicle burglary, possession of paraphernalia and burglary. Arrests were made in connection with some of these incidents. For example, Jacelyn Hart was arrested for domestic violence – simple assault at Lemoyne Boulevard in St. Martin. Carlie Alley was arrested for trespassing as well as contributing to the delinquency of a minor and minor in possession of tobacco at Sam Kirkwood Road in Hurley. Shaleigh Dickerson was arrested for trespassing and Daniel Dickerson was arrested for disorderly conduct at Hazelwood Road in Escatawpa.

Other notable cases include Jonathan Greer reporting a burglary on Independence Road near Stateline; Lily Parker reporting malicious mischief on Saracennia Road in Escatawpa; Julian Mixon reporting fraud or scam on Cedarcliff Drive; Jayden Gunn reporting a vehicle burglary on Patrick Henry Road near Stateline; and Renetta Miles reporting a suspicious circumstance on Tom Polk Road in Hurley.

Terrance Levar was arrested for possession of paraphernalia and burglary while Jesses Redcherries was also arrested for burglary at Forts Lake Road near Stateline. Matthew Fletcher faced charges including reckless driving, no insurance and no driver’s license following an incident on Tucker Road in St. Martin.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office functions as a law enforcement agency with specialized divisions such as patrol operations, criminal investigations, detention management and a K9 unit to serve public safety needs throughout Jackson County—including Gautier, Moss Point, Pascagoula and Ocean Springs—according to the official website.

These efforts are part of ongoing initiatives by the sheriff’s office to positively affect community safety through comprehensive services delivered by specialized operational divisions according to the official website.
