The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office released its daily crime report on March 10, detailing several incidents and arrests that occurred on March 9.

The report includes cases of auto theft, fraud, public intoxication, lost property, harassing calls, and assault across various neighborhoods in the county. These updates are part of the sheriff’s office’s ongoing efforts to keep residents informed about local law enforcement activities.

According to the report, Steven Wheeler reported an auto theft on Eckhoff Road in Escatawpa. Another auto theft was reported by Jayden Loper on Highway 63 in Hurley, while Lucas Riggins also reported an auto theft on Point Aux Chenes Road in St. Andrews. Donna David reported a case of fraud on Teakwood Drive in St. Martin.

Jacob Swan was arrested for public drunkenness on Lily Orchard Road in Hurley. Other incidents include Henry Barnes reporting a lost item on Highway 63 in Escatawpa and Alisha Fox reporting harassing calls on Highway 57 in Vancleave.

Assault-related incidents were also noted: Jacob Muller reported an assault by threat on Laasko Drive at Stateline; Timothy Vaughn reported an assault at Parker Road A25 in St. Martin; and Grace McBroom reported an assault by threat at Spring Lake Drive in Vancleave.

These reports reflect the range of criminal activity addressed by local law enforcement each day. The sheriff’s office continues to encourage residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
