Have you ever wondered if Sweet Potatoes are good for you? Heard myths that sweet potatoes are the same as a yam. What about nutritional value? Are you curious yet? Please join the Lucedale-George County Public Library for a program on Sweet Potatoes presented by Ann Howard, Mississippi Federation of Women in Agriculture. The program will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 5 pm in the library meeting room. Howard will discuss nutritional facts, answer questions about myths, and give out Sweet Potato Recipes. The Friends of the Lucedale-George County Public Library will provide light snacks and juice.
