In celebration of their new partnership with Ace Hardware, McDaniel’s General Merchandise of McHenry is hosting a 2-day grand opening this weekend.
America’s most celebrated “helpful place” is celebrating a grand opening April 7 – 8 at its McHenry, MS store. McDaniel’s General Merchandise, located at 496 Highway 49, brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service, paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products, to McHenry residents.

The Stone County EDP invites you to join us this weekend, April 7th and 8th, to celebrate McDaniel’s General Merchandise’s partnership with Ace Hardware!! This Grand Opening event will feature a Ribbon Cutting on Friday, April 7th at 10 am. There will be giveaways, sales, and more!” Stone County EDP said in a Facebook post on April 4.
Throughout the 2-day event, customers can come in to enjoy the chance to win a variety of giveaways, and take advantage of exclusive sales and offers. On Friday, stop in and enter to win an EGO Power Plus Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer, valued at $249.00. On Saturday, customers can enter to win a Bronze Traeger Pro Series 22 Wood Pellet Grill, valued at $599.95.
Exclusive offers during the weekend include $5 off any purchase of $25 or more of regular-priced merchandise on Friday, and on Saturday the first 200 customers will receive a free Ace 5-Gallon Bucket plus 20% off everything that fits into the bucket. Customers will also receive 20% off gallons of Benjamin Moore and Clark+Kensington paint all weekend long.
The store will be having special events each day in celebration of the grand opening. On Friday, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00am along with free coffee and doughnuts 7:00am – 1:00pm. On Saturday, there will be a grilling demo 10:00am – 1:00pm
