Pearl River County Update About the Countywide Paving Project.

Pearl River County Road Manager Charlie Schielder gave an update on WRJW about the countywide paving project. Pearl River County is the 4th largest county in land size in the state. That is a total of 1,134 miles of county roads, 146 state aid roads, and 150 bridges to maintain. Each year a plan and a budget are made to determine how many and which roads will be paved. 35 miles of roads were paved in 2021. A plan of 60 miles of roads are to be paved in 2022.
