Senator Roger Wicker, U.S. Senator for Mississippi and a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, marked several significant occasions in recent social media posts.

On November 10, 2025, Senator Wicker recognized the anniversary of the United States Marine Corps by stating, “Happy birthday to the United States Marine Corps! For 250 years, the selfless men and women of the @USMC have proudly served our country with honor and courage. Our nation will always be proud and forever thankful for each and every one of them.” The Marine Corps was established on November 10, 1775, making this its 250th anniversary.

Later that day, Wicker addressed issues related to religious freedom. In a post dated November 10, he wrote: “Every human being deserves to practice their faith as they see it. We must stand against religious oppression.”

On Veterans Day, November 11, Senator Wicker posted a brief message: “Happy Veterans Day!”

Senator Wicker has been an advocate for military personnel and veterans throughout his tenure in Congress. As a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, he has supported legislation aimed at improving conditions for service members and their families.
