Census Bureau: More women than men in Gulfport in 2020

Of the 71,660 people living in Gulfport in 2020, 51.9 percent (37,227) were women and 48.1 percent (34,433) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Mississippi Gulf News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 945. In the 65 and over age range, there were 5,750 females and 4,289 males.
