Today, Congressman Mike Ezell announced the nominations from Mississippi's Fourth Congressional District for consideration for acceptance into various United States Service Academies. The nominees are being considered for the Class of 2029 at the Air Force, Merchant Marine, Military, and Naval Academies.
"It is one of my greatest privileges as the Congressman for Mississippi's Fourth District to nominate exceptional students for consideration to our U.S. Service Academies," said Ezell. "I am proud to announce that this year, I have nominated seventeen outstanding students from across our district. These young individuals have demonstrated tremendous dedication throughout a rigorous interview and selection process, and I commend them for reaching this important milestone. As they embark on their journey of education and service to our nation, I extend my heartfelt best wishes for their continued success."
The nominees for each academy are as follows:
U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York:

- Ava Sutton from St. Patrick Catholic High School
U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland:
- Andrew Molaison from Pearl River Central High School

- Isaac Cosby from Hancock High School
- Liam Buchanan from St. Patrick Catholic High School
- Morgan Ann McWilliams from Pass Christian High School
- Paula Sims from Pascagoula High School
- Brandon Barfield from Greene County High School

U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado:
