Congressman Mike Ezell of Mississippi's 4th District has expressed his support for President Trump's recent State of the Union address. In a statement, he highlighted key areas where he aligns with the President's agenda.

"Tonight, President Trump laid out a clear vision for the future of our nation—one that prioritizes securing our borders, reining in out-of-control government spending, and putting the American people first," said Congressman Ezell. He affirmed his backing of the President’s focus on law and order, economic strength, and national values.

Ezell emphasized the situation at the southern border as a significant national security issue. "The crisis at our southern border remains one of the greatest threats to our national security and sovereignty," he stated. He supports measures such as completing the border wall and reinstating policies from Trump's previous administration to combat illegal immigration and related issues.

The Congressman also addressed economic concerns raised by President Trump regarding federal spending and inflation. "The President also rightly called out the reckless spending that has driven inflation through the roof," Ezell noted. He is committed to working towards responsible budgeting and reducing unnecessary government expenditures.

As a former law enforcement officer, Ezell appreciates strong leadership and is eager to collaborate with President Trump on implementing these priorities for South Mississippi and beyond. "Together, we will put America back on the right track," he concluded.
